Based on the specs alone, I would venture to guess it will just outperform a 9600gt.

Hmm, i was planning on getting a bfg low power 9800 gt since it doesn't require extra power connector.

Do you guys think it will outperform this?

Itll be close, use less power, and maybe have a good price as well

Yeah, pretty close but I think the 9800gt would come out on top.
I would be willing to bet, however, that a low power 9800gt will use about twice the juice as a 5670.
It also will not have DX11 support, if that is important at all...

Thanks for the responses, i think i may wait for this for the lower power and dx11. January is not too long of a wait.

Although i don't know if the dx11 support will make much difference. Maybe it will be able to outperform the 9800gt for newer games released with dx11 support.
