I have a single GTX 570 Superclocked card at the moment, running on a Viewsonic 1920x1080 LED Monitor @ 60Hz. I want to be able to play any and all games at High and/or Max for the next 1-2 years, but I have heard that SLI (especially 570 SLI) is not worth it unless:
a. You have a 120Hz monitor
OR
b. You are at a resolution >1920x1080 due to FPS really dropping at those "high-high" resolutions
OR
c. You have a dual/triple screen display
I do not meet any of these requirements...would I still get good value in going 570 SLI over single?
Computer specs:
CPU: i5-2500k OC'ed to 4.2Ghz
Memory: 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast 750W PSU
Mobo: ASUS SABERTOOTH P67
SSD: 128 GB
HHD: 1 TB
Monitor: Viewsonic VX2450WM-LED 24-Inch Widescreen LED w/ Full HD 1080p
