The 9600XT

"...9600XT is the better value overall. Better image quality, faster performance, lower price. The decision doesn’t get any easier than that." Quoted from following review

Not sure where you live. If it is in the US, IMO these are the best online deals now, Starting at the best reasonably priced card, and going down. If outside the US, these prices mean nothing to you.

1)Saphire Radeon 9800 Pro oem $213 (easily the top card mentioned here)

2)Chaintech FX5900 retail $183 (better than the XT or SE model and priced the same.
XFX FX5900XT with Call of Duty is $194

3) Saphire Radeon 9600XT $150 lite retail - no HL2
Connect3D Radeon 9600XT $159 retail with HL2 Coupon
Saphire Radeon 9600XT $169 retail with HL2 Coupon
BB ATI Radeon 9600XT $179 retail with HL2 Coupon

4) GF FX5700 Ultra $169 - not worth it, buy one of the others.

GameVE, I've placed many orders with them since Newegg started charging NJ tax. No problems yet, but never tried an RMA with them.

On pricewatch, they say NOT an XT or SE

I highly doubt this one comes with the optional VIVO though like the $249 Newegg one.

R9600XT all the way.

If you can afford an FX5900 series, then look towards, that but then again look to the R9800 if you're close to that as it would be the best choice.

I'm about to post a link to an FX5900XT review that shows the R9600XT winning out more than once, and the min FPS is a bit interesting at times.
