[SOLVED] 5700 xt driver causing shut down

I just purchased an AMD 5700 xt, hooked it all up and when I install the amd drivers from their site when under load the pc shuts down after a few minutes, as if it had experience power loss. I had also just bought a 750watt psu so I got a replacement thinking it was bad, the issue persisted I put a bandaid on the issue by running ddu and having windows detect and install the drivers, which are out of date and dont include any of the software suite. Anytime I update the drivers the issue starts again. Any ideas?

What PSU and 5700XT specifically do you have?

Also what thermals on your GPU?

If the computer restarts only underload it is almost guaranteed to be a thermal or power issue.

Ended up returning the card and getting a new one works perfectly. My guess is there was an issue with power delivery on the card.
