Question 5700xt drivers fixed?

Are the driver issues fixed on the 5700xt as of Jan 30, 2020?

still debating 5700xt vs 2070 super

prices as of now are 439$ for red devil 5700xt, and 500$ for 2070 super.

if drivers are fixed for the most part I think ive made up my mind based on value (5700xt), havent used an amd card in a while..

thoughts?

paired with Ryzen 5 3600 btw.

Some people still have problems with the drivers and others have none. Its like a hit or miss

When it comes to 5700xt or 2070S, i would go for 2070S in this case if you dont want to have to deal with issues that might come with the drivers

I've also heard that some models of 5700xt have thermal issues and performance issues eg. stuttering.

Overall the solution to your question is, do you want to be a part of the green team or the red team honestly

Had the same dilema myself lately. I've decided I'm going to wait until later this year when Ampere releases and purchase then. From what I've read 5700xt still has a lot of driver issues and like the above comment said it seems pretty hit and miss. I've seen people try every fix under the sun and end up swapping to nvidia in the end. I'd rather pay the money for a far more reliable experience personally so I would go with the 2070super.

5700 none XT owner and have no issues have never had from either side.

old byt 1000s of peeps have problems with 5700XT, hours/days of troubleshooting.
lucky was able to return to amazon. got a 2070s and works perfect from day 1.

AMD dont give a pooh about the 5700xt, driver issues since mid 2019. was sad as always had amd/radeon cards but AMD gpus are a big failure IMHO.
