Hello, I have a Evoke 5700xt. This GPU has a PCIE 8 pin 6+2 + a PCIE 6 pin power connector.

I have a corsair rm850x. Can I use one cable to connect to both? Or its better to use 2 cables, one for the PCIE 8 pin 6+2 and another for the 6 pin connector?

Especially for power hungry cards like RTX 4090 is recommented from the manufacturer to use only different cables. For less power hungry cards like the 5700XT it will be probably fine to just use a single one but it is always better to use seperate cables and not one that ends in two.

Well, here's your RM850X's specification sticker:

As you can see, it has a single +12V rail which means that you can use just one cable. The reason that a single +12V rail is preferred is that you won't overload it (well, not without overloading the entire PSU).

Cables that have two connectors on them are designed to carry twice the current of cables with only one connector. This is done because some people want fewer cables in their PC's main cavity so there's really no need to worry. I did that exact same thing with a 275W R9 Fury and it was fine.
