Hey, so i was gonna get a 3080 but after that launch i have had some time to think, should i just go for a 5700xt as they are only $670 for a stix in AUS, i want to beable to run cyberpunk 2077 at high 60fps.

(Or Wait For Big Navi)

Cpu: I7 9700k
GPU: Rx 480 8gb
PSU: be quiet 11 600w gold

That really depends. In what resolution do you want to play cyberpunk? I give you an example...I have an RTX 2080 for 1440p gameplay. I want a RTX 3080 for cyberpunk. Because I want to play it in 1440p with all the raytracing etc. with +60fps. I have my doubts that I will be able to do that with the RTX 2080 with good beyond 60fps frame rate. Maybe with DLSS 2.0. But again, you can't do that with with the 5700xt....maybe with new big navi. I would wait in your case. Wait for the 3070 or what AMD has to offer. Don't buy the 5700xt right now. you just have buyers remorse later on.....at least wait to see what happens. Sometimes patience will pay off....

If you don't care for ray tracing....(but you should for cyberpunk), you can consider...

Buy the way....with your PSU you want to look at the 3070, not the 3080.....

Yes, technically you are fine with the 5700XT unless you want to get ray tracing. But if you don't plan to upgrade to a higher resolution monitor any time soon you don't need a 3080, not even a 3070. Maybe you want to wait for the new AMD stuff or look at one of the 3060 cards when they come out....
