Very disappointed after buying my new rig, at least in Modern Warfare 2 that is. Heres the specs:
Mobo: MSI X58 Pro-E
CPU: I7 920 @ 3.2 ghz
GPU: XFX Radeon 5770 HD (core: 840mhz, mem: 1225 mhz)
Ram: Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600 3x1gb (8,8,8,24 and 1800mhz)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500gb
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
Now my old system was a AMD Athlon 64 x2 and Nvidia 9800gtx+ with 4gb ddr2 800.
At max graphics @ 1680x1050 and 4x AA, I'm getting around 23-32 fps average and sometimes it will spike to 60 or drop to 19. Both systems got around the same fps and this worries me after spending a bunch of money.
Now heres what I think is wrong but I want someone to confirm before I spend a bunch of time on it. I'm using the same hard drive without wiping and starting new. I installed the new drivers and everything is working fine and a lot faster except MW2. Or somethings not getting enough voltage, the only thing I increased was my Ram up to 1.65v.
So whats my problem?
