I’ve read that the new ryzens produce a lot of heat. Currently running 3800x at 4.2ghz, and potentially looking at buying a 5800x in the next few weeks. Currently have a Corsair H100i platinum 240mm

I am just wondering if this AIO would be enough to cool the 5800x? I sit around 60-65 Celsius under load with the 3800x.

I pretty much only play games on my computer, with the occasional simple video editing.

I have 240 h100i for my 5800x and it's really good, I would check temps for you but I do not know how,
Download HWInfo64. You don't have to install it, just get the portable version. In the SENSORS screen look for a CPU temp Die (Average) reading. That's the operating temperature (or closest thing to it). Other temperature readings can be spikey; the spikes occurr when it boosts and aren't really significant.
