5820k vs 6700k for gaming ?

I'm still deciding wether to go for 2011 or 1151 socket.

Gaming and overclocking are the main priorities.

Massive waste of money. 10 cores sure, however in most games it will be beaten by a 6700k because it isn't as optimised for single threaded applications. It is meant more for video editing and high performance workloads.
