5850 card help.

for all you gamers out there maybe you can answer me a question I have. I just installed my new 5850 today. every game runs great. I can max crysis completely out 1920 x 1200 resolution ultra high 8AA. and get playable fps. Now. I say that to say this. why am I able to do that but when i open modern warfare 2 I cant even get 35 fps unless im looking directly down. that makes no sense at all to me. can someone link me a hot fix for me?

Have you updated your VGA drivers ?

If you installed the drivers that came on the CD in that box, well... those drivers were made prior to the release of MW2. Just this week new ATI drivers were released... you should head on over to their site and download a copy if you haven't already done so.

Since other (demanding) games run fine, but you're just having problems with WM2... Maziar is almost certainly right... it's the drivers.
