5850 not supporting anti-anialising?

i just bought a 5850 and it dont support anti aniliasing in the game i play? is this a known issue or does the whole ati radeon serias not support AA?

Let me guess. The game you play is Batman: AA?

This topic is now about forcing AA in ME2 on the steam/impulse versions of the game (you can't trick it with changing the .exe to UT3). I think we can all appreciate figuring out how I am to get rid of my jaggies!

Unreal Engine games simply don't support standard AA algorithms. You can force Supersampling from drivers, but the effect ranges...

That is the issue, you cannot force it until ATI sees fit to implement a profile in the drivers. Though they just did that today.. with a hot fix to 10.1.. so there ya go.

the game is champions online. but im assuming there are other games that AA is not supported? i have the new drivers still no AA. wondering if this is gonna be a problem is it normal for ati to not support AA

Yes, and is not the card's fault, it's the developers. If you want AA force it in the CCC.

ATI has nothing to do with the AA here. The ones that make the games choose to have AA or not. Some games have AA, some don't.
