Noticed that after reading an article @ The Inquirer and didn't expect to see 49 PAGES WORTH OF PROBLEMS! I guess this just goes to show that ATI has better products.

This is ANCIENT NEWS being reposted up front again.

This is NOTHING to do with nVidia.

This is EVERYTHING to do with eVGA making cards with core/memory speeds that are significantly out of spec.

Yah, I guess ATi is way better than nVidia, I mean eVGA only has had this problem for a month or so... still not fixed... I mean it only took ATi six months to fix the original rads.

*cough*

I wish some of you people had been around the hardware scene prior to last week... or at least showed enough inititive to not buy into all the bullsh!t they read.

Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly like nVidia or ATi. They both are cheats, they're both only concerned with lining their pockets, and they both have put out total crap products that didn't have the kind of support they needed and took way to long to resolve problems that shouldn't have existed in the first place.

Just pisses me off that because ATi is the current favorite everyone smacks down nVidia when both deserve plenty of props and jeers both.

Sorry man, I didn't know this was "ANCIENT NEWS". I just noticed a new article at The Inquirer so I assumed that this was kinda new. I must admit that I do like ATi better than nVidia, but I'm not trying to start a flame war. I understand that both companies deserve plenty of props and jeers; they both have their pros and cons. Didn't mean to piss you off. I just found it interesting and wanted to share that info.

It's too bad that you've had a rough day, but don't take it out on us. And neither nVidia nor ATi put out "crap" products. All of the cheats were in drivers. The only real crap on the market right now is the FX5200. And maybe the 5600 rev.1

Tit for tat, butter for fat, ATi's dog kicks nVidia's cat

Yes, and I was REALLY hoping the latest Paralia would be a better performer and break up the monotony of the video card industry.

Oh yes, I remember my first radeon. Was trying to use the video in/out function. Would crash like clockwork every single time. Tried every driver software combination there was. ATI tech support was no help either. That card has kept me clear of ATI since. I have never had that sort of problem with any NVidia card, well so far... I still havent tried the svid in/out on my FX5900. Its like a Ford/Chevy thing everybody has there opinion on the the matter for what ever reason and they stick to it, personally I drive imports but its hard to make a comparison that way.

Error RAID!!! Error RAID!!! Heads crashing down everywhere, oh the humanity!!!!
