[SOLVED] 5900x running half cores

I changed my bios settings for smt to be disabled then noticed performance drop in games so re enabled it but windows still shows only 12 cores for my 5900x
please help
tried updating and resetting bios wont work
pls help

check msconfig processor settings.

are you using Ryzen Master? another thread OP and reset it and get all the threads back

Run MSConfig...look at boot/advanced options. Clear any checkmarks in the Number of Processors box, click OK and restart.
