5950X overheats and PC shuts off (black screen)

CPU temperature is abnormal just after bootup (around 5~60°C) even with AIO cooler attached. CPU slowly heats up just with opening tabs for internet usage, and when using OBS or playing games (low spec. requirement games such as League of Legends), CPU temperature shoots up to around 90°C. CPU temperature increases to the point that after around 3~6 hours of usage, it reaches approximately 100~110°C+ and computer turns off with a black screen (not BSOD). Before turning off, there is a high pitched, coil whine-like sound that comes from the PC.

The PC has been around for roughly 11 months. How can I fix this???

Past Attempts (All Failed)
  • Factory reset Windows OS
  • Reapply thermal paste
  • Reset CMOS/BIOS
Future Attempts to Try
  • Using different PSU cable (wall plug to PSU)
  • Try plugging in PC to different wall plug in another place
  • Try using high- capacity power strip/extension cord

you should definitely take some time to determine if the pump has failed.
this is usually what causes this type of situation.
but it can also be incorrect installation/setup.
the amount of time you claim it takes to overheat could suggest a different problem than pump failure.
usually this would lead to CPU temperature errors even upon POST.

one thing you can do is remove the entire setup from the case and manipulate it in the open air.
turning and shaking the radiator & block could free any trapped bubbles, etc and allow the fluid to freely flow again.

if this doesn't help and temperatures remain far above normal;
contact the retailer(if purchased recently) or the manufacturer(if only within warranty).
they will provide either refund or product replacement.

is this Galahad 360 a CPU block/pump or a radiator/pump design?

one note;
the power plug you're using has nothing at all to do with your system temperatures.
