Hey,

I’ve been running a 5950x cooled by an Arctic Liquid Freezer ii 280mm but both my idle and under-load temps have been a lot higher than I expected. Idling in the mid to high 70s in BIOS and under the smallest and largest loads at 90-92. I’ve tried reseating and reapplying thermal paste but it doesn’t change anything. I’ve also tried turning off PBO and it basically looks identical to having it off. Not sure where to go from here.

Thanks

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

Fan(s): locations, size, air flow directions?

Are you able to take a photograph or two of the interior and post the photographs here via imgur (www.imgur.,com)?

Photographs may help spot something amiss.
