Hello everyone.

I build a new PC for 3d&2d CG (CAD, 3ds max, AfterEffects, Photoshop etc. and sometimes gaming)
Approximate Purchase Date is the end of may or june.

Here is the build:
CPU: Intel Core i7-5960X
M/B: ASUS X99-S
MEMORY: 64GB DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz (yes, I want 64gb for good performance, cause my budget is big)
HSF: Corsair Hydro Series H110
GPU: ASUS STRIX GTX 980 DirectCU II OC 4GB GDDR5
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
HDD: WD Black 1TB
CASE: Fractal Design Define R5 Black

In future I want to buy a second gtx980 to use them in SLI. Please give some advices with PSU, memory and overall. Big thanks.

CPU - The 5960k is more for bragging rights that anything... The 5820k is the better choice if you will be using at most two GPUs. The 5930k and 5960k have more PCI lanes, but this doesn't come into play unless you want to keep the option open for triple SLI / CF. The 5820k is a beast as-is... Give it the same overclock that you would the 5960k and you will have a very hard time noticing the two cores (and its two hyperthreads) are missing.
CPU Cooler - Changed to Swiftec for a better, and more quiet, water cooler.
MEM - Waaaaay overkill and you will likely never tap into that much, but if you have the budget to spend then fine. This is a third / quarter of your total spend...
HD - No need for a performance drive when you have an SSD handling the majority of the workload. A typicaly WD Blue or Seagate offering will be just fine to supplement storage.
PSU - XFX or Seasonic, then EVGA G2 or Supernova lineups. No need to mess around with lesser quality since you are at a high budget level. 850w is plenty of capacity for you to add a second GTX 980 later.

Thanks for reply!

According to this link 5960x is better choice for 2d/3d/Video applications than 5820k. Who knows, maybe I will go with a 3sli configuration in future.

I'm from Belarus and it's slightly hard to find some parts here. So instead of Swiftec can I try something else? Or maybe corsair h110 is not so bad? Maybe I can upgrade it with more silent fans?

Thanks for the PSU, I'll try to find EVGA Supernova.
And the memory, can I go with Vengeance® LPX 64GB (8x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C14? Is it good enough, or I should try some Crucial or Kingston variants?

Comparing the 5960k to the 5820k will always show the 5960k on top. Compared to the i7-4790k or i5-4690k, the 5820k is a beast on different level. Going upwards to the 5960k will give you more performance, but with the 5820k you already stepped into a very high level of performance.

The Corsair H110 would be fine. I own one and with the fan speeds dialed down it is relatively quiet. The fans can be easily replaced if you find the noise too much. From a cooling standpoint, the H100i, H100i GTX, H105 or H110 all are good options.

Those Vengeance modules will be fine.
