5m VGA cable max output 1600 x 1200?

I recently installed a large full hd lcd screen connected to a pc thru a 5m VGA cable. However my graphic card (AMD) is unable to output 1080p to the display. The max resolution I get is 1600x1200. Is this a problem due to the length of the cable? How do I get 1080p signal to the tv?

The only cable the monitor has is a VGA cable? No connector for a DVI or HDMI?

It was solved. Had to "reveal hidden settings" that might not be supported. then manually select Full HD. The quality looks poorer than a 1m DVI cable tho..

did you have a 1000p settings on the hdtv with 32 bits color quality and 60 hz refresh rate you could try .
