Does anyone know how to mod a power supply to increase the 5v line? I've already cracked mine open to look for potentiometers to tune but found none. Even a link to a site would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this is in the wrong area but the 5v line does affect my motherboard and I couldn't figure where else to put it.

not all psu's are adjustable, if your 5V is dropping a lot, it looks like its time for a new psu, I had this prob, my 5V dropped to like 4.6 at times under load (1 gig running at 1400), it was a generic 300W and couldnt be adjusted, I now have an enermax 430W and my 5V is now always on, or very close to 5V

Hey not you again. =oÞ

Anyway I have the same PSU as you and it reads at 4.9v somtimes 4.8v, no obvious problems yet. Can this be adjusted just as a matter of interest?
thanx...

im still no nearer solving the other prob we have, Im waiting for my new ram to arrive, Im also going to watercool my chipset too, it WILL hit at LEAST 1700 stable, one way or another.
