6.00 GB of Ram (3.99 GB usable)

Hey, I have 6 GB of ram and ever since I got my new 6870 my number of usable ram is always changing, Most of the time it says either 5.24 or 3.99 GB usable.
I know this means my ram is being shared but I run dual monitors and always have a game and other programs up so I do use a decent amount of ram, is it good that my GPU is sharing the ram or would it be better to take back my ram?

You are using 32-bit Windows, which won't let you use more than 4GB of RAM. The only solution is to get a copy of 64-bit Windows (see if your CPU supports it first), and run a clean install.

No actually I'm running 64-bit, if you had read what i posted then how would it say 5.24 GB usable when 32-bit only runs 4. please pay attention.

go to start menu run the msconfig go to the boot tab click advanced options and check the maximum memory check box see if that helps

I know how to change it, but my question is that if it is good that my GPU is using some of my RAM?
