6 beeps on start up

The title says it all, when I start my PC I get 6 beeps from the moba.
Feel free to ask questions.

Post your motherboard and we can help from there. Different manufactures have different beep codes. Also your manual should have a troubleshooting section with the codes in them.

The moba does know a card is present in the PCI slot as it disables onboard graphics. Just that when the card is connected to power, I get the 6 beeps and no display.

The stuff I could find point to an AMI bios, so 6 error code beeps is bad CPU or Motherboard.
However, it seems people also run in to issues with upgrading their videocards. Seems a bios update can fix that.
Did you recently upgrade the video or anything?

Neither, fixed it about 30 minutes ago, it turned out my BIOS had changed or something and it was doing secure boot. So i changed it to Legacy boot and it works fine (too this moment).
