When it comes to a software such as Adobe Premier CC , Sony Vega Pro, or PowerDirector 12. Would a fast 6 core with weak graphic card be better than a slower 8 core with a better graphics card?

Solution
The 2 GPUs are the AMD 7730 and the 7750. The 7730 comes with the computer that has a fast 6 core. The 7750 comes with the 8 core. I've got mixed answers...some saying the 8 core is better for video editing others saying the 6 core is faster...each core is more useful than 8 slow cores. Another person said that the difference in speed between the two cpus were insignificant to the point that the 8 core was the better choice for video editing and DAW work. II'm pretty poor so my decisions are between these two computers.

The 8 Core is: AMD FX-8100 2.8Ghz (3.7GHz Turbo)

The 6 Core is: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz (Max Turbo frequency 4.1GHz)

These are the computers I'm talking about if you want to know more:

8 Core...
I would probably prefer to have a weak-ish GPU with a strong CPU if you're not gaming, as it will offer you a lot more compatibility when dealing with programs that don't support GPU acceleration, though in order to make up for it I would probably go with an AMD gpu, they are known to render faster though keep in mind less programs support OpenCL than Cuda (Nvidia Only)

Premiere pro CC supports openCL, Sony vegas pro 12+11 supports OpenCL.

Keep in mind the CS6 version does NOT support OpenCl, only the Creative cloud.

Posting his pm he sent to me because I prefer to keep it out of pm so others that may have similar issues can see the thread.

I wouldn't suggest either of those because of the poor quality psus they use. You can build a pc for a similar pc and specs but better quality components.
