Hey I'm looking for a 6 monitor GPU such as the 5870 and 6870, along with the asus 6950. Can someone please give me a link to a used or new card. (One of those 3) for the cheapest price? I've been looking around and a lot of those cards aren't available on Newegg, so a url for a cheap price would be awesome, thanks.

Hello,
If you are going to be playing games on those 6 monitors, 1 video card will have a problem with decently new games at that high of a resolution.

But anyways to answer your question http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121431

BTW to enable more than 2 monitors via EYEFINITY, you will need 4 native displayport monitors, or use active displayport adapters.

EDIT:
Can you please answers the following questions?

Will you be gaming on all 6 of those monitors simultaneously?
Will you be using eyefinity or seperate monitor setup?
What is "cheap" to you? $300?

I completely agree with the that posted above me... hence why i asked you if you will be gaming.(If you weren't then there wouldn't be a problem, but you are so my followup response would have been- you will probably need to get another one of those for crossfire)

Based off a benchmark i found, a 6950 will run crysis 2 max settings at

47 avg fps
66 max fps

BUT these numbers are at 1920 x 1080. (I'm guessing that is just 1 of your monitors resolution)

So if you were to run it with all 6 of your monitors... it probably wouldn't be at a stable/playable fps.

when running a 6 monitor setup you have to make sure your video card can support it. If running eyefinity technology for instance made by amd/ati, make sure your ati card can support a 6 monitor eyefinity setup. it seems you are only getting 3 out of 6 displays to work, possibly your video card is not advanced enough to handle the 6 displays. google amd eyefinity FAQs. this will show you which cards support up to 6 displays. to get up to multiple displays through nvidia technology you must be running sli. i hope this helps you solve your monitor issues.

IDK where you see the OP talking about

and
i hope this helps you solve your monitor issues.
^^ I have seen this A LOT on tomshardware forums- people random spitting out information that is irrelevant to the thread..
or asking for information that has already been said.<<(Seen this a lot on other threads)

What does this have to do with the post subject?? ^^^

LOLOLOL READ THE THREAD

The OP asked me what fps' he would get with a 6950, so i responded with the post you quoted.

lol @ inzone getting a few threads mixed up (i think thats whats going on :D)

aaanywho, i highly doubt you would even get above 20fps on medium with dual 6950s at that res...

11,520 x 6,480 i would take a look at the performance difference between 1920 x 1080 and the 2560 x 1600... http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-6950-1gb-benchmark,3041-11.html

thats JC2... the least demanding (currentish) game i can seem to find :D
