Thanks!

two HD 4870 or GTX 260's wont provide your 6 monitor support, they will only provide 4.

please state wheather you want to use the 6 screens for gaming or just for having multiple internet browsers open at the same time. also what screen resolution will the screens be? (this will greatly affect which graphics card we recomend to you)

if no gaming is involved then eather 3 hd4650 or 3 nvidia equivilant or 2 hd5750.

if for gaming, where you planning on using all 6 screens for running the game as one giant screen? if so then the yet to be released eyefinity editon of the hd 5870 could be what you are looking for (should be out by the end of the year i think). however their are some problems you might run into. if you havent already purchased your 6 screens then make sure they have a displayport input. if they dont have that connection then you will need to buy an additional $100+ active displayport to dvi converter... for each of the six screens.

thanks! yeah, no gaming is involved. i actually realized that I should scale back the specs on this build since I don't plan on gaming. I think I'm going to go with the two 5750s. for that, it looks like two of my six monitors have to be displayport compatible, right?

Only if you're going to go with SPAN style Eyefinity. Essentially making 3 screens into one very wide virtual monitor.
If you're looking at six individual output screens you can get by spending a lot less than $300 for the video cards.
Is this a video poker setup? No 3D output? And going for a quiet system?

And I don't think you're going to need the Core i7 950 - the i7 920 will do fine. Same with 12GB of RAM - 6GB is plenty.

about the i7 i just noticed that you said you wanted a 920 but you linked the 950, id go with the 920 as it can overclock like a beast and is much cheaper than the 950.
