Hey guys,

Previous CoolerMaster 600w PSU decided to stop liking games so replaced it with a Corsair CMX750. The CoolerMaster used 5 pin female modular connectors to attach to the PSU and the leads were quite flexible so having 3 SATA connectors per lead meant it was easy to connect 3 SSDs. But the lead for the CMX750 is quite stiff and the SATA connectors a bit more inflexible meaning that it is impossible to have 3 SSDs daisy chained using the 6 pin modular leads that come supplied.

I guess what I'm looking for is a 6 pin to 5 pin connector to that I may plug it into the PSU then attach the 5 pin modular I have to it. Does anything like that exist or if not have you any other ideas? I have literally hit a wall in logical thinking tonight.

Thanks

Flip your middle SSD over and use a different cable. (or the end of the same cable depending on how much room you have) That puts the power connector on the other side of the SSD from the others. If you have trouble securing a piece of double sided tape or Velcro will work fine if it's bay mounted.
Only use the cables that came with the power supply.
On a side not DO NOT loose your extra cables either put them back in the box and keep the box or zip tie them together and secure them in the bottom of the case or a extra drive slot.
