6 VGA monitors to 1 MSI Laptop

I just purchased an MSI GS70 with a 970m video card.

I have 6 18inch display monitors which all only have vga inputs.

I heard that i would need to get a USB HUB and get 6 of the USB to VGA devices.

Would I have to do that? or can my only HDMI output on my laptop display to all 6 VGA monitors ? I've seen HDMI splitters but i've heard that they will only duplicate the image and not actually display their own independent image.

if you want extended desktop you will need to purchase USB to VGA (external video cards) , try to look for some that support more than 1 VGA output.

a Desktop PC would be better at doing that....
