i3-3220 is faster than the stock fx-6300. If you overclock the fx-6300 it will be faster than any i3. Also, the i3 is dual core whereas the fx-6300 is quad core. The fx-6300 will be faster in games.

Recently AMD announced discounts on their CPUs....meaning you should be able to buy a fx-6300 for $118 instead of $138. It should happen soon.

For gaming it is better to have wires. I don't like having to use wires for my keyboard and mouse, but it is best for gaming. For everyday computer use, no wires is better.

At a similar price, I recommend this keyboard:

It's around $25-30 but really good. I used it for a year until I bought a mechanical keyboard ($80).

As for mouse, the style is very personal. I went to a store and tried some out to get a feel and decided on one.
Also, I like to have extra buttons by my thumb. In games I can switch between actions using a simple thumb click.

waow before i read this i looked around and picked this one cause the logitech only version cost 60$ so this one just because it has the mw3 logo cost 30$ less and i imagined it was alot better so i picked that and kept the same mouse cause my teacher has it and i like it alot. So tell me is this build good i raised my budget by 100$ cause i had an extra 200$ laying around and might as well. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/US3M

Prices fluctuate daily, but this is solid as of today. Still need a mouse but this is awesome:
