Hey guys I'm trying to build my first computer and I don't know a whole lot about this.
I've looked at a lot of benchmarks online and started building an AMD and Intel PC. I'm thinking that the AMD seems more cost effective at my price but again I don't know a whole lot about this stuff so i'm open to any suggestions.
Heres what I've got so far.
EDIT - I plan to use this PC for Guild Wars 2, runescape, and elder scrolls online when it comes out.
CPU 126.75 - AMD FX-6300 3.5 Ghz Black Edition
Motherboard 89.99 - GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3 AM3+ AMD 970 ATX AMD Motherboard
Memory 72.98 - Kingston Technology HyperX 8 GB (2×4 GB) 1600 MHz DDR3 Dual Channel Kit
GPU 129.99 - MSI Radeon HD 7790 OC 1GB GDDR5
HD - 68.26 Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache Hard Drive
Optical Drive 21.99 - Asus 24xDVD-RW Serial ATA Internal OEM Drive
PSU 57.74 - Corsair Builder Series CX500 500W 80 PLUS POWER SUPPLY
Case 39.99 - NZXT Technologies Source 210 Computer Case
TOTAL - 607.69
So this is my build I'm open to any changes and maybe even switching over completely to an intel setup if it is more bang for my buck.
