I'm looking to build a PC in the next few months and want to get the best bang for my buck with $600. I don't own a lot of high end games, only because my current PC doesnt run anything. I'd be willing to increase the budget to about $650 to $700 if need but no higher.

Hello!

Here is my suggestion:
CPU-Intel Core i5-4430 3.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
RAM-G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
GPU-MSI Radeon R9 270X 2GB HAWK Video Card
Motherboard-ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
HDD-Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Case-NZXT Source 220 ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU-EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

Hope this helps!

I agree with this but I'd make 2 changes.

1. Upgrade that PSU to something not so junky, like a cheap Seasonic or XFX bronze 550W.
2. I don't recommend the anniversary edition mobos unless you have a extreme budget. The pro model is only a few bucks more with more features.

Ok, this is what I would go with:

Case Fan: Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition (2-Pack) 62.7 CFM 120mm Fans ($27.89 @ OutletPC)
Total: $686.36 BEFORE $35 MIR, I posted the initial price because the MIR's can take quite awhile (a few months in my case) to get them back.

Also most if not all the parts are cooler matched for a blue/black theme. The I5 4590 has plenty of power and a 400mhz boost clock for power efficiency and performance when needed. The 280 is a excellent GPU* which is close to the GTX 960 but is much cheaper and has the additional 1gb of vram.
