Solution

ide personally go with an AMD cpu at this price range.

Unfortunately there is nothing AMD that can compete with the Skylake i3 at any price range.

I don't know much about the lower end sky lake CPU's so i guess i cant argue that one.

ETA: Here's an alternate case without the unneeded power supply that'd put you $3 over budget:

While I like the durability, that PSU is not compatible with Haswell or later processors due to messing up the low power states.

My understanding is that the problematic sleep state can be disabled if necessary. I went with the Seasonic because it's a known quantity on the tier list, but, if the Rosewill is a good reliable unit, it's a bit cheaper anyway.

Well, shoot. I just realized one of the links pcpartpicker gave me was dead and another one was wrong. My apologies. Here's a revised version, not quite as nice but a tiny bit cheaper, with a little bit more storage, no extra PSU, and damric's rosewill unit (I'd still trust the Seasonic more, though.)
