$600 mostly DOTA build

Hi Friends,
I'm looking for some help to get the best system to play mostly DOTA for a budget of around $600. Not sure if I should got intel or AMD. I occasionally play BF4 and would like a system that can manage that with reasonable FPS on low or medium settings. The computer will be occasionally used to email, surf web and possibly for an office application like openoffice. I need an OS, but already have monitor and keyboard.

I do have a local microcenter so that is helpful if some of the parts can be purchased there, though am open to online retailers for the best pricing.
