I only have $600 to spend on a pc build. I don't need everything, the only thing i need is a gpu, cpu, motherboard, and a psu. I have a pavilion p-6 2100. So far i have...

gpu: either a gtx 760 or amd radeon 7950

cpu: i5 4670 (no k, as i have no plans on overclocking) or amd fx-8350

Motherboard: havent really picked one yet because i havent pick a cpu yet...

psu: not sure but mostly likely 600 watts/ modular

My needs for this computer is gaming and for some what school.

The requirements for BF4 haven't been released yet, but you will almost definitely be able to play it at 1080p on Ultra, but you may have to turn down or off a few of the filters. This card is an absolute beast for the price!

Notes:

1. Time is money. Sites to shop at: pcpartpicker, amazon, newegg, tigerdirect, microcenter. Microcenter has the best CPU and MOBO combo's. Period. Only challenge is you have to go to the store to pick them up.
2. GPU will be the biggest performance factor in games. This site may help you some:
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html
This is a benchmark with some pricing.
3. Shop shop shop. Once you settle on a GPU or two. Make sure you check daily on prices and rebates. Amazon in specific has good prices, however sometimes you have to click on the item before the rebates show. I just saved $25 on an ASUS HD 7850 in this way ($153 post rebate).
Good Luck !!

OBTW: You MAY want to consider an aftermarket CPU fan. I HATE fan noise. The intel stock fan is cheap and a little noisy for me. CM 212 is silent. Not a requirement, but more than worth the $25 for me ... just a thought.
