600hz tv for amd 3d

Hello,
I have a 600hz plasma and I am getting a laptop with a 7970m and it has a 1.4a output. I know 120 hz is required, I am assuming that its is compatible down to 120 hz if it supports 600 hz. Can anyone conform this as I have been looking for hours and can't get an answer on this. Thanks Ja.

an 1.4a hdmi output supports 120 mhz. so 600 hz will not be an issue.
