Ok so I finally found a UPS that is a reliable brand, its have high temperature protection which I can assume it is needed in summer season, however, to get enough time to safely turn off the modem when power is out, 600VA UPS is enough? Like at least 10 mins or maybe more? Thank you in advance and have a great day to you

If this is JUST a modem, like say a Aris SB8200 (for example) then the power usage is a maximum of about 30W. That should be supported by a 600VA UPS for at least 30 min. But you should TEST. 30W is at the very bottom of the support for an APC 600VA UPS (for example). You might need a little more load (the router?) to ensure smooth transition from mains to battery.

It is a line interactive UPS 600VA with two outputs, we probably use one of them which is modem itself and perhaps a quite small router like box, kinda connector for a fibre quality. I cannot do test at the moment as we do not have the UPS in hand, I take it from your reply 600VA is actually more than enough, at least for a 10 mins safely turn off the modem, we just need some little time to turn it off quickly the moment power is out.

I just looked up the wattage for a cable modem (30W) and then went to APC website and picked a 600VA UPS. You can enter the load and it will tell you the runtime. Remember that UPS batteries need to be replaced every 3 to 5 years. Write the in-service date on the battery so that you have a record. I use a silver sharpie pen for all my UPS batteries.
