[SOLVED] 600W Power Supply for 2080ti?

Hi guys! Super quick question here: Can I drop a 2080ti into my system while keeping my 600W psu and still have it function ok? I was thinking of adding Gigabyte 2080ti Aorus, or the EVGA 2080ti Black.

Right now I have a 1080ti and it works great. The TDP on both cards are 250W, so I see no reason that my current power supply would need to be changed, however I see that many people recommend a minimum of 750W psu for the 2080ti. Is there something I am missing? Any help would be super appreciated

Case: Louqe Ghost S1 (mini ITX)
Mobo: Asus Strix ROG Strix z390-i Gaming
CPU: i7-9700k @ stock
GPU: MSi 1080ti Armor @ Stock
Memory: GSkill Sniper X 32GB(2x16) 3600
PSU: Corsair SF600 80+ Gold
SSD: Samsung 860 Evo 1TB m.2

Note* Again, I was thinking about using the Gigabyte Aorus or EVGA Black 2080ti cards with no other changes to the system.

Can draw ~300W under a torture load but, coupled with a 9700K at stock, it should be fine.

Even with the CPU drawing ~130W and the GPU drawing ~300 thats still well within the limit of 600W. I don't have any case fans, lighting or anything else drawing wattage because the case I have is fanless and lightless (tiny ITX case)

You can probably get away with it fine, you might want to consider upgrading to a good 750w eventually though in case you wanna add any addition fans or anything else that might draw power.
Having extra power at your disposal is never a bad thing

Yeah, the 9700K can draw ~130W, if not a little more at stock (despite it's 95W TDP), and a ~300W GPU. Add in the balance of the components that all have fairly negligible 12V power draw (RAM etc) and the 600W unit is fine.

The SF600 has a full 50A on the 12V rail, so under a torture load, you'd be running is ~80% of capacity.
Not ideal for efficiency, but on a Gold rated unit you're looking at 90% efficient at 50% load, 87% efficient at 100% load.... So worst case, you're drawing about 550W from the wall (vs about 530W if you were operating at peak efficiency).

Absolutely no need for a 750W unit in that build.
Regardless, I think the only 750W SFX units available are Platinum or Titanium and near $200.
