Hi !
I was just able to adquire a Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge.
So far (2 weeks usage) I saw no issues.
My currents system specificationes are these:
Ryzen 7 2700
MSI Tomahawk max
32gb ram Corsair vengeance 3200
Kingston KC2000 nvme
2x SSD 500gb
1x sata HDD 1TB
Corsair GS 600w PSU
It also has x5 80mm fans
So, I was trying to mesure power usage, but I'm not sure if I'm getting it right with software.
On paper, I read Nvidia recommends 650w PSU for the 3070... but that's really necessary?
Or that's just for i9 or Ryzen 9 processors?
I can't remember how old the PSU is... not sure when I bought it.
But I do know that's discontunued, and it may be at least 3-4 years old.
So... what do you think?
Should I upgrade the PSU? is the graphics card or system at risk ?
Or it's just fine, and should not be worried unless I see something weird?
Thanks !
