It's time for me to upgrade my system, and I am set on buying a 290X.
Though, I am concerned whether my 600w will be able to pull the weight of a FX-6300 and R9-290X. I am aware that the things that I am/will be running within my machine are on the power-hungry side of things.
I don't plan on over-clocking either of them, and I am starting to question whether my power supply is up to the task. I'd prefer not to have to switch it out for a better one, though I am willing to if it is absolutely necessary.
If my fears come to light, could someone point me in the direction of a power supply that would be able to run said specifications for $60 or less? It being modular or semi-modular would be nice, though I could live without it. Again, I would prefer to stick with my old PSU if possible.
