Hello!

I am using a Benq GL2450H, a 60hz 1080p monitor and I have succeeded to overclock it to 80hz. The thing is that when I just put it to 80hz on 1080p (or 16:9 aspect ratio), I start to get these little fuzzy pixels (video down below). BUT when I put my resolution to like 1280x960, then put my refresh rate to 75hz, it works flawlessly (obviously) and then when I put it back to 1080p from 960p, it goes to 80hz without any of those fuzzy pixels anymore. Is it safe, or is this like a warning to go back to 60hz?

It works flawlessly on 80hz if I put to 960p 75hz then back to 1080p 80hz, the fuzzy pixel thing is gone. BUT if i just go from 1080p 60hz to 80hz the fuzzy pixel thing appears. Is it safe, is my question.
And to overclock it I just used custom resolution utility. (Added 1080p 75hz and 80hz)

Maybe, maybe not.

Having graphical problems is the first sign that the monitor is being used in a way that it probably shouldn't be.
Not having any graphical issues is a better sign, as I said, it's pretty normal for a monitor to lose its normal resolution capability after overclocking.

But there's no guarantee that running at the lower resolution isn't causing an issue underneath, being as you have encountered issues at the higher resolution.
