60hz or 144hz monitor for PS4?

Hello! I'm going to buy a new monitor for my ps4. My friend recommended me to buy a 144hz because the picture will be much more smoother and flow. But, as far as I know, ps4 doesn't put more than 60hz. So, tell me please, does the picture on 144hz monitor will be (much) better than on 60hz?

As I understood, there will be no differencies between 60hz monitor and 240 (144)hz monitors for playstation 4 (and other consoles)?
