I have a thunderbird 1400 working with 256DDR on Asus A7A266. The Mini Super Orb from thermaltake witch have 2 little fan inside is beautifull but: 63.5°c on the CPU and what a noise !!! Someone in my case... I plan to put a Tisol as quick as I can..

Want quiet? Check out this site:

Want performance, with 100% ease of installation? I suggest the Swiftech MCX370-0A. Just a little loud, but not as much as a Delta. But, keeps it under 45°C. Get that one here for $36.99. Or, at Coolerguys.com with options of fans (or without one) starting at $29.95.

Or, get one that I think is between a quiet cooler and a Swiftech: the ThermalTake Volcano 6Cu. You can get that one here.

63.5°C is fine, unless your computer is locking up. But, everyone will recommend trying to get it below 50°C at the most.

You may have to do some rigging, but you can hook an 80mm fan onto anything.
I hooked up a 80mm sunnon to a WBK38 for a friend, with a drill and some safety wire and pliers. I did put a little piece of rubber between the fan and sink, though. Quiet, and much more resonable than running the delta at 7v.

Rich is the nation that has many war heroes. Long since forgotten...

I have a 1200 Athlon, runs pretty consistently at 48C with Thermaltake volcano6cu+ (38cfm fan). Noise, not bad.

I recommend either the Alpha PAL-8045 or Swifttech MCX-462.
I am not sure as of yet which one gives better preformance, as the PAL-8045 and the old Swifttech MC-462-A were about equal, but Swifttech made some key changes and might be better. In any event, you can find all cooling goodies Here.

 Have you ever tried cooking an egg on your HSF? Tasty.
