Hey all looking to upgrade my fx 6350 soon.

My budget is 280/300.

Info: mainly for WoW (upgrade for smoother fps), LoL, Overwatch, The Division, GTAv modded and ofc future titles.

Currently have a 4gb msi r9 380 which i will upgrade in A few months.
EVGA 600 w PSU. 1080p is my what im comfy with so as long as i can pump highs out im smiling!

Preferably lower wattage than the 6350, with a comfortable upgrade path. Hope thats enough info guys!

A little outside the budget.

As is this AMD option. With BfA's latest recommended requirements being CPU's with 8 threads, this might be a better option going forward.

CPU:...
That's out of budget. 8GB of DDR4 RAM is $100 right now (16GB would be almost $200) and the 1600 is $200, the cheapest B350 board is about $60 and all of that is minus tax in the US (Total: over $350). In Canada it's almost $500, and in Australia that would be well over $500, in the UK is the only place it comes close. Might wait to see what the actual budget is measured in.

If top end of budget is "300" (300 WHAT?) You're looking more at a Ryzen 3 1200 or 1300X with 8GB of RAM MAX

And that's in USD/UK pounds. If its Canada or Australia (or many other places) you're looking at less.
