I just upgraded to Windows 7 64 Bit Home Premium from Win 7 32 Bit

I've been downloading drivers onto an external HDD because my internet download speed has become EXTREMELY slow, a couple MB takes DAYS to download

any Ideas what has caused my internet download speed to be this bad?

I checked in task manager networking the network utilization is almost constantly 0 to 0.5% is this normal??

net was great before I upgraded & did a clean install of Win 7 64 Bit,

have downloaded every single driver for CPU, GPU, Motherboard and WLAN, I had the CD for my TP Link Adapter and used that to connect to the internet

however now the download speed is shockingly bad

am I missing a driver? I went on the TP link website and downloaded the latest driver on a different computer and transferred it and it still didnt work

Im really baffled and have been stuck with this for almost a week now !

tried another wireless adapter, this one http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_71905_1.jpg

there is no make/model on it, couldnt even find the name of it in system info by searching vendor ID, but i thought id try it anyway

couldnt get it to work, kept getting an error saying no driver found "USB WLAN 2.0 No Driver found" I guess ill have to try another one tomorrow when i get a chance
