64 bit questions

SO, Here i am, Asking another question.... But, here it is, I have recently bought a Hp Compaq 8100 Elite SFF, which came with a Intel i5 660, Here are the specs:

Now, SInce this is a dual core, quad thread, should this be using 32bit or 64 bit, Beacuse, My ram says "4.00gb,(3.80 usable), also, Beacuse it isnt a quad core, should it use a 32 bit? or since its quad thread, dual core, it should use 64 bit, Any ideas?

32 bit or 64 bit will work... in general... go 64 bit unless you have some old hardware type stuff connected which does not have 64 bit drivers avail.

Most cpus since the athlon 64 are capable of running 64bit operating systems. The major benefit to 64 bit is it's able to address much more (up to 192 GB) of ram where 32 bit versions will only access 4gb (in fact, due to x86 hardware addresses it only shows about 3.6gb).
