64 bit Win10, 6GB memory but only 2GB showing up

Hello, I have 64 bit windows 10. For 3 years im using 3sticks x2gb of ram (6gb) with no problem. Last week my computer started to shut down my programs because of ‘’not enough memory’’, and i checked and saw that i only had 2gb of ram. (just 2gb no text that said x amount usable). I thought 2 of my ram sticks were broken so i tried every single one of them alone and all of them worked, when i put them all together only 2gb works, so i tried different ram slots. I have 3 orange and 3 blacks, they were on the orange ones so i changed all of to the black ones. My computer didn’t even turn on so i went back to the orange ones and only had 2gb. I read that the black ones are only used if all the orange ones are full. Please help...

What is the model of your motherboard? What BIOS version are you on?

The latest version of your BIOS is 1408. Two of the updates after your current version addressed improved memory capability. You might want to try updating to at least 0904.

alright, thats done. Now it shows 4/6gb but still missing 2gb of ram.

Try the Crucial memory scanner. Does it recognize all your RAM and slots?

Crucial memery scanner only read 4gb, but cpuz read all 6gb , still missing 2gb. All my bios settings are default too

swap around the chip that it wasn't recognizing, and see if the issue follows the RAM or stays with the slot.

Still 4gb, after swapping ram, the slot should be the problem as i tried all ram sticks 1by1 and all booted the pc using slots other than the middle one. So slots 1-2-4-5-6 work fine
