like the title says, is 64gb of ram with 2400mhz speed better than 32gb of 3200mhz ram? I already have the 64 gigs from a previous rig, hence why I'm asking. Its ballistix sport LT ram by the way. I'd be upgrading to whatever is newest and most recommended by all of you. I'm gaming in 4k also if that makes a difference. What would you all recommend? My build is below.
Mobo: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master
CPU: Intel i9-9900k
GPU: PowerColor Red Devil RX 5700 XT
RAM: Ballistix Sport LT 64gb 2400mhz
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 850 Watt 80+ Gold

Solution
Gaming at 4K it’s going to make little difference. If running 1080p/1440p and pushing very high FPS then faster RAM does help but at 4K you are entirely gpu limited and running much lower FPS. Also 16GB is plenty for 4K gaming and streaming. You can go 32GB if you want encase you need it in the future but 64GB is a complete waste based on your usage. So you might as well just go 32GB 3200mhz.
