Hello,

I built my first computer several months back on my own. I have an issue. I only bought 32GB of RAM at the time and installed it with no issues. I decided to buy additional RAM since it was at a great price than what I bought it originally. I installed it like I did the other two. I went through the BIOS and the board recognized in DRAM status what installed in the slots in the easy panel section. When you actually look in the RAM section is only sees 32GB total; same with System Information; about; Task Manager for the Memory. I took all the RAM sticks out and inspected and cleaned the contacts and blew out the slots and started inserting several times in eash slot to get the slots wore in from being new. I then tested eash RAM stick in the closest to the chip. Each one was recognized and then changed the order several times and no luck in reading 64GB.

My hardware:

Motherboard
Asus ROG Strix Z370-E Gaming

RAM
16GB 4×8 DDR4 3000MHZ Trident S.Skill RGB

OS
Microsoft 10 Home Edition 64bit

RAM
16GB 4×8 DDR4 3000MHZ Trident S.Skill RGB

Part number or link to memory?

Use of multiple kits have no guarantee to work together. You are free to do your own compatibility testing.

Workarounds to get extra memory to work include:
:Lower memory clock speed
Relax DRAM timings
Increase DRAM voltage

All 4 have all the same stickers on the side of sticks. Not sure why the system won't recognize the additional 32gb of ram added but does see that they are slotted.

Not much of an expert to the settings in the BIOS. What would you propose to those settings for the DRAM ?
