I plan on purchasing this in next couple days. I would like to know if I would experience any bottle necking, and are all the parts compatible? My budget is $650 firm. Thanks

i'd say it's a great build especially at that resolution you should be able to max out pretty much anything out there. I'd get a new monitor though as a 24 inch LED or LCD monitor now isn't very expensive. In my opinion your monitor is your only "bottleneck" in your overall experience.

well they are $30 because it's only 4gb of ram (2x2gb)
but that should be enough ram in my opinion, but since 8gb of quality ram is only 20 dollars more i'd just get 8gb.

The reason I say 4gb is enough is that windows 8 is shown to use even less ram than windows 7, and games rarely take up all 4gb of your ram. The ram kit i linked you is the one I have (8gb 1600) and I have never seen it use more than 4gb of ram.

But still... since its cheap.. just get 8gb

Drop the OS and you are looking at $500, which means you can easily upgrade to a i5 2500k (+$90) and a decent Z68 mobo (+$60). Get 4GB of 1600MHz RAM as well (+$5)

You won't get better performance for $655.

I really like this build! To bad I already purchased though.. =/ I just couldn't wait bought on impulse. So tell me how good i did? I know this mobo doesn't support xfire/sli, but will it be fine for OC? Also, would the stock fan be ok if I just bump to 3.6 or 3.8?
