An i5 build....:bounce:...thats brilliant..😀....but seeing as how the fx 8350 kills the i5 chips ....will these intel chips hold good in the future when games become more core hungry?

Solution

since i dont need a hdd or an optical drive......can i go for the gtx 750 ti from filippi's build and still keep it under 40k?....also i cant find a hdmi port on this mobo....am i wrong?

In this particular game i see a Ivy Bridge i5 = fx8350 and fx-6300 = i3 (roughly)
I think a new haswell i5 should be a little better than fx8350 just like ib i5 was a little worse.
In this particular game FX-8320 should be great for overclockers.
Just remember this is a GTX Titan chart so keep things in perspective: Its a $1000 dollars gpu.
For a GTX750ti build you just need a cpu that is good enough and can handle GTX750ti gaming setups. i5 can handle this all right. As a matter of fact haswell i5 can handle GTX760, GTX770, GTX780 builds. And in most of games it will handle it much better than a no-oc FX8350.
