Hello all

Quick question, I'm looking to upgrade my gpu in the coming weeks from my old 8800 Gtx.

The new two cards I've been looking at are the 650 and the 660.

Which of these cards offer the best bang for buck?

I don't want to spend a fortune on the card also.

Really, is there that much of a difference for the price difference?

Thanks

Although the GTX 660 is powerful, i would opt for the 660ti if you can scrape up the extra cash. Its is very much more powerful than the 660.

The GTX 660 Ti is basically the same GK104 GPU as the GTX 670. The only thing that separates it from the 670 is it's memory bandwidth.

The GTX 660 Ti has 1344 CUDA cores, while the GTX 660 is based on the GK106 GPU and only has 960 CUDA cores. At reference, the GTX 660 actually comes with a higher core clock than the Ti.
