650m DDR5 500mb Vs 750m ddr3 4gb?

i Just sold my 2012 imac, going back to good old Windows.

as the title say, the Mac had a 500mb ram 650m DDR5.

the laptop with 750m is only ddr3, but it Will still be better due to the extra ram?

i dont play that many demanding games, but i dont want to downgrade.

any help is appreciated.

My guess is that they perform about the same. The 750m is a faster GPU but the difference in memory types will bring their performance on a similar level. The extra Ram can help a little bit on high resolutions.
